13th World Aluminium Conference
21 - 24 September 2008
Hilton Chongqing, P.R of China

Many leading companies have already registered their places - click here for a list of participant companies. Many more to confirm soon.
As a consequence of the recent earthquake in China and after dialogue with Chalco, CRU's 13th World Aluminium Conference will now be postponed until Sunday, 21 September – Wednesday, 24 September.
In 2008 CRU is proud to be taking its World Aluminium conference to Chongqing, the home of South West Aluminium and the heartland of the continuing Chinese investment in downstream aluminium production. Increasingly we find ourselves looking at downstream investment, hence the decision to come to China in 2008.
China's success is not just limited to this market segment however - across the aluminium value chain the Chinese market has been the engine of growth for the global aluminium market over the last 5 years.
As always, CRU Events’ World Aluminium conference will give you a comprehensive update and insight into the latest movements of the worldwide aluminium industry brought to you by the leaders in the field.
Why attend CRU's 13th World Aluminium conference?
- Hear a high quality programme organised by CRU - the leading
independent aluminium research organisation in the world
- Gain the latest intelligence on the vital topics driving the aluminium
industry from leading industrialists and economists
- Network with over 250 senior-level decision makers in the aluminium
industry from around the world
- "Probably the best international event offering (an) up to date
overview on the industry and its future outlooks" (Ministry of Industry,
Iceland)
- "CRU gives an excellent forum for interaction among world leaders
and Aluminium producers" (National Aluminium Company Limited -
NALCO).
