7th Annual Wire and Cable Conference
CRU’s 7th Wire and Cable Conference is scheduled for 10 – 12 June 2013, in Berlin. This event will focus on the key issues affecting the industry and as well as growth areas and opportunities for producers. We cover the issues that are important to the industry, including coverage of the European renewable energy target for 2020 and beyond. In the past year, the power cable sector has been the strongest performing in the wire and cable industry. Within this sector, the renewable energy market has been a strong driving force. We will also review other strong end-user markets, including a detailed look at the HV cable sector.
In the fibre optics market, world demand increased by 10% in 2012. Strong growth from China and slightly weakened demand from other big markets has led to 3% increase of China’s share of this sector, totalling 49% in 2012. Presentations covered include global market update and a more focused look at the Russian fibre optic cable market.
Now in its 7th year, CRU’s Wire and Cable Conference has established itself as a must-attend event for those working in the wire and cable industry and end-user markets – with past attendees describing it as ‘the best opportunity during the year.’The event offers unique insights into the trends shaping the industry and fantastic networking opportunity, to meet with industry peers. Join us in Berlin, for your chance to ‘catch up on what is happening all over the world in the cable industry’.
