Tanya joined CRU in December 2020 as a Graduate Intern.
After finishing her MSc in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics, she joined CRU full-time as a Research Analyst in August 2021. She focuses on copper and zinc, including demand and scrap market analysis.
Previously, Tanya worked in journalism and political risk in the defence and security sector. She holds a BA with distinction in Global Governance and a minor in Data Science from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She also spent an exchange semester in Latin American Studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her postgraduate dissertation focused on monetary policy during Covid-19 in Chile and Peru. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Hindi and Portuguese and is currently learning Russian.
