You will manage and develop your own client base within the region, working collaboratively with CRU’s In-House Sales team, the Key Account Manager for Europe and your colleagues in the Analysis and Consulting teams. You will be responsible for sales of CRU Analysis subscriptions and Consulting assignments, managing existing accounts and hunting for new business. You will be expected to develop and implement a sales plan to exceed growth targets.
First rate track record of managing complex and high value sales, and achievement of targets
A proven all-rounder with strong account management/development skills and the ability to generate new business
Ability to understand and promote CRU methodologies, including price discovery, forecasting, cost analysis and due diligence
Communication and negotiation skills, as well as a proven ability to develop client relationship
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities in an organised way commercial and customer driven, ability to grow business profitably in line with strategy
Understanding of the customer’s business environment and market dynamics
Strategic thinking/planning, with ability to formulate and execute a sales strategy for the region/customer set
Ability to respond positively to change and act on it
Excellent IT skills including the use of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience of using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
At least one European language is preferable
Experience working in the mining and metals industry is preferred
CRU operates on a global basis, and the jobholder must expect to travel as required.
