CRU provides world leading business intelligence on the global metals, mining and fertilizer industries, through market analysis report subscriptions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CRU International in the new global Customer Services as a Customer Services Executive in our Pittsburgh office. This is a key role as part of CRU moving to a more proactive Customer Services function.

You will be providing client on-boarding and proactive ongoing support to new and existing clients as well as handling client enquiries received via the Customer Services inbox & helpdesk. You will also assist the regional sales team to support client proposals and queries as well as general admin and order processing support.

We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record in a proactive customer services role as well as experience of working with a regional and global portfolio of clients. You should be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, a team player and be able to use initiative where required.

This role will become part of a dynamic, supportive, successful and truly international team with the key focus on building and strengthening client relationships whilst providing sales support to the regional sales team.

Essential Criteria
Bachelors degree

Proven record in a proactive customer services role where client interactions were a key part of the role for a minimum of one year

Experience providing sales support to field sales

Experience of working with a regional/global portfolio of clients

Fluent written and spoken English

Excellent IT skills including the use of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Experience of using Salesforce/CRM Systems/Customer Services Helpdesk Ticketing system

Desirable Criteria
Experience of working in an information subscription business is preferable

Fluent written and spoken Spanish is desirable

Additional Information
You may be required to provide assistance to the wider Sales and Marketing team for client seminars on an ad-hoc basis.
