Head of North America Analysis, AluminumPittsburgh, United States

The North American lead role in aluminum will be a high-profile client-facing role, leading our research and business growth in the key North American market.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Supporting key clients in region with on going customer support, growing our renewal base in region and spearheading research and potential new products for the American market

Minimum Required Qualifications

• A top degree (first or 2:1) from a top US university or equivalent level qualification from a leading university outside of the US

• Further degree (Masters degree with merit and/or PhD)

Knowledge & Experience

• Extensive experience in aluminium industry or other metals industry. Downstream experience would be an advantage.

• Strong background in maths and/or economics or business

• A thought leader in the industry and for the region

• Strong quantitative background and a creative thinker based on a robust approach to data/modelling

• Experience of managing and leading a team

• Exposure working across multi-locations with different cultures

• Approachable, with a positive and collaborative attitude and a genuine interest in developing the team to be the best in the industry – delivering value to our clients and creating value for shareholders

• Lead by example in terms of work ethic and commitment to exceeding clients expectations

• Enthusiastic regarding delivering the highest quality reports to each and every client; Responsive to client needs but commercially minded

• High level of corporate awareness, able to understand the wider business context and demonstrate a commitment to supporting cross-organisational activities

• Cognisant of the importance of sharing knowledge and ideas in a constructive and supportive way; ability to act as a mentor for more junior talent

• A confident and strong speaker and presenter with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly (both verbally and in writing), and build and maintain trusted and collaborative relationships at all levels
