This is an excellent opportunity to join our Information & Knowledge Team of 3, working for an international company that specialises in metals, mining and fertilizers.

The role is mainly focused around managing CRU’s existing KM tools and embedding them within the business by motivating and assisting colleagues to use them while measuring their success. You will be the main global support for our social collaboration (intranet) tool Jive, providing training and advice to colleagues. You will be responsible for the administration associated with the tool as well as liaising with our IT dept and the vendor around bugs and upgrades. You will be expected to champion the tool to the business and produce usage metrics.

You will also be responsible for our Lunch and Learn programme from organising a regular line-up of presentations and marketing the events to all offices to recording presentations ensuring their accessibility to all global employees.

You will support the Information & Knowledge team with other KM initiatives e.g. Communities of Practice and Lessons Learned. In addition, you will be expected to support the Information Specialist with managing subscriptions, information enquiries and copyright advice.

Essential Criteria
Degree educated, BA or MSc (or equivalent) in Information & Library Studies is preferred

3 Years + experience in the knowledge industry in a corporate/legal role

Experience of managing/supporting intranets or social collaboration tools

Experience of Knowledge Management tools and processes

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels

Fluent spoken and written English with the ability to write clear and concise communications

Excellent IT skills including the use of MS Office

Ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines

Desirable Criteria
Experience of managing subscriptions

Facilitation skills including the ability to run focus groups and abstract feedback

Exposure to working across global offices and cultures
