As specialist production coordinator, you will work closely with editors to ensure that content is delivered in good time for the publication deadlines. You will also work with the team to improve the quality of content, both written and data graphics; and ensure that the CRU style guidelines are implemented.
For the right person, this Production Coordinator role at CRU is an opportunity to work in a recently established production team in a business that is undergoing a digital transition having recently launched its subscription reports as online services.
A degree (minimum grade 2:1) from a top British university or equivalent level qualification from a leading university outside of the UK
Excellent word processing skills: including the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent written and spoken English
Experience of working in a team, preferably within a production environment
Well organised with experience in adhering to deadlines
A background in B2B publishing would be an advantage
A knowledge of Adobe Creative applications; especially InDesign
Experience using content management systems for website publishing
Experience of writing/editing in an editorial environment
An interest in mining and metals and/or energy and agriculture
Willingness to work flexibly during busy times
