CRU has some exciting opportunities to join its global Marketing team. We are looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager to join our London team, to represent the voice of the customer by devising and leading product go-to-market strategy by way of customer-centric solutions.

By representing the voice of the customer, you will tell the product/service story to buyers & decision makers by managing communication plans across the product lifecycle and aligning to business goals. You will act as a subject matter expert to transfer knowledge about markets, buyers and products across the marketing and sales teams. As well as working with your other marketing colleagues, you will also work closely with our internal Sales, Production, Events, Analysis and Consulting teams as well as external agency partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define the market opportunity for product/solutions; perform segmentation and targeting exercises that identify segments with highest propensity to buy
  • Conduct market and customer research to gather data and insight about target personas, buyer needs, and the purchasing decision process for the product, including key buyer roles
  • Develop portfolio positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with the buying audience and produce the source materials for teams to utilize
  • Collaborate with wider marketing team to produce relevant content for target buyers
  • Develop the competitive comparison guide for use in positioning against similar offerings from other organizations
  • Assist formalized customer marketing function to drive retention
  • Conduct win/loss interviews and perform ongoing analysis to determine the level of customer product adoption and provide feedback to the product team
  • Represent all marketing functions in region, closely coordinating with regional sales leads and VP

About you – what skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or similar field. Marketing qualifications from a recognised body such as CIM are desirable but not essential
  • Extensive experience in experience in building portfolio marketing strategies
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation Platforms, Social Media and Webinar Software
  • Proven marketing capability at both a strategic and delivery level
  • Experience of driving a sales enablement culture
  • B2B and/or SaaS experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to confidently lead technical discussions as well as presenting to stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding how ROI can be maximised by activity and channel
  • Strong data insight skills, use of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI
  • Excellent IT skills including the use of MS Office and platforms such as Pardot, Hootsuite, Twitter, Youtube, Photoshop, InDesign or similar
  • Fluent written and spoken English
