CRU appoints new Head of CRU Singapore
CRU is pleased to announce that Aloysius Tay has been appointed as the Head of CRU Singapore. Since joining CRU in 2018, Aloysius has contributed to growing the business as Regional Director for Sales in the APAC region, and is now stepping into the role of Head of CRU Singapore to strengthen existing relationships and establish new ones across the region.
Aloysius has extensive experience in the field, having worked for 15 years in business information, research and analytics. Prior to joining CRU, Aloysius held roles at Thomson Reuters, Morningstar and IBM.
Aloysius’s expanded responsibility comes at a critical point of time in the commodity sector as the heightened importance of decarbonization, procurement and supply chain assurance along with the emergence of Southeast Asia as a global commodity influencer rapidly increases.
Throughout the past four years, Aloysius has consistently performed at a superior level. His strategic initiatives, market share penetration, industry knowledge and ability to build trusted partnerships with our customers is a testament to his vision and awareness of CRU’s unique industry capabilities. We are very pleased and excited to see the regional evolution of CRU under the leadership and guidance of Aloysius.
