Modern Day Slavery Initiatives for 2004/2025
- Training: CRU Communities operate market-leading events across the globe. In 2025, the Communities Team will be trained to identify risks and signs of exploitation, especially in vulnerable situations. This specialised training will have focus on recognising potential red flags related to modern slavery.
- Reporting: We will continue to enhance our global confidential reporting system, ensuring employees can safely report concerns about modern slavery. The system incorporates fundamental safeguards for whistleblowers, and provides clear guidelines to encourage reporting, investigation and resolution.
- Oversight: All office managers will be tasked with regularly reviewing and attesting their office’s commitment to modern slavery awareness and prevention.
- Modern Slavery Awareness: CRU will actively communicate our stance and reporting mechanisms for modern slavery risks to all employees.
These initiatives build on our 2024 commitments and will be reviewed annually to ensure their effectiveness.
