Francisco joined CRU Consulting in 2019 after a nine-year career across the base and battery metals sector.
Before this Francisco co-founded and led the business development at Kura Minerals, advising on acquisition strategies, deal structuring and project financing across a wide spectrum of mining companies and financial institutions.
Francisco also worked at BHP where he was responsible for geometallurgy and project development at Escondida mine site in northern Chile, and involved in mineral processing R&D for different assets in the company’s Copper group.
During his MSc degree thesis, Francisco explored public policy and macroeconomics aspects of the resource industry´s role in economic growth.
Francisco based in CRU's Santiago office holds a Chemical Engineer degree from University of Concepción, Chile and a M.Sc. Industry, Trade & Development from University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
