Daisy Bermudez started her career in events in March 2008 when she joined the Associations of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO) after receiving a BA hons in International Events and Tourism Management from the London Metropolitan University.

At ACEVO she worked on a range of events such as training workshops, report launches and conferences for Third Sector Chief Executives. She helped launch the ACEVO events management service (EMS) as a social enterprise organising award ceremonies, sporting events, private functions, training road shows and fashion shows.

In May 2011 Daisy moved to CRU as a Conference Manger and from April 2015 was appointed Head of Logistics for the internal events department which runs 15-19 events a year. Throughout her time at CRU she has managed the organisation of a number of international conferences in the fertilizer, metals and mining sectors ranging from 300-700 delegates with up to 70 exhibition stands. She provides support and overall supervision of the logistics team as well as effectively managing conference budgets, website and registration system projects. Daisy is proficient in Spanish and Portuguese.
