Thomas Bower

Thomas joined CRU in 2022 as the Head of Base Metals Cost and Emissions, bringing over 15 years' experience in the mining and metals industry.

Before joining CRU, he was an Associate with Behre Dolbear, specialising in technical due diligence, project economics, valuations, and project infrastructure across Africa, South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. Thomas also has experience in the junior mining space, where he led feasibility studies and played a key role in early-stage project development through to commissioning and operations for base metal assets.

Based in our London office, Thomas holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and is a chartered engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
