Anna joined CRU in 2016 as a Conference Manager and was appointed Head of Event Client Services and Event Operations in June 2018.
She has nine years’ experience in running events in B2B and B2C environments. As Head of Event Client Services & Event Operations she is responsible for P&L delivery (from a cost perspective), project management, contract negotiation, delivery of events on site, managing the operations team, staff development, recruitment and training.
She oversees and manages conferences across many commodity sectors, including Fertilizers, Sulphur, Nitrogen and Optical Fibre. The events her team deliver range in size from 150 to 1100 delegates and take place in various locations around the world including Africa, Asia, South America and the Middle East.
She has proven experience of building high performing teams, partnerships and events globally. In recent months she has overseen the cost management effects of COVID-19 both in terms of protecting our business liabilities and our client relationships and their concerns. Her team now build and deliver the online event platforms used for our Virtual offerings as well as reaching out to clients to support with navigating this current change in events.
Anna holds a BA Hons in History and Spanish from Durham University.
