Daniel Chen joined CRU’s Shanghai office in 2018. He focuses on pricing and market analysis around Cobalt, Lithium and Nickel. His works contribute to CRU’s Market Outlooks and Monitors.
Before joining CRU, Daniel previously served as China steel analyst at Grand Resources, a listed trading house; and before that he did an internship in Rome at the global trading business line, Enel. He also worked for Baosteel as an engineer.
He holds Master of Management from Fudan University and LUISS Guido Carli University, and a Bachelor of Mineral Processing Engineering from Northeastern University, China.
He is currently a CFA level III candidate.
