Danwu Chen

Danwu (Wendy) Chen joined CRU Consulting London in October 2017. She relocated to Shanghai office in 2020. Wendy is Senior Consultant with finance and economics background.

Since joined CRU, Wendy has been involved in a wide range of projects, covering commodities such as steel, cobalt, copper, aluminium, and project types such as market strategy, valuation and industry research. She has extensive experience with projects that are focusing on steelmaking raw materials market and battery metals.

Before joining CRU, Wendy has gained finance experience in China Construction Bank. Wendy holds a BSc in Financial Engineering, the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing and has a Master's in Economics, the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. Wendy is fluent in Mandarin and English.​
