Atul works in steel costs team as an editor of Steel Cost Service. As an editor, he is responsible for costs and emissions modelling of global steel assets.
He joined CRU in May 2017 as a steel analyst, covering Indian steelmaking raw materials market and steel costs.
Prior to CRU, Atul has worked with Essar Steel (now called ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India), Voestalpine Group's Specialty Steel Company Böhler-Uddeholm and MSPL, iron ore mining company.
Atul holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai University and an MBA from Pune University. Atul is based in Pune, India.
