Sabine Kilgus started her career in events in January 2008 when she joined the internal events department at CRU after receiving an MA in International Events Management from the University of Brighton.

From 1998 Sabine worked as Management Assistant in real estate for 5 years before studying at the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel, Germany where she received a BA (2005) and MSc (2007) in Multimedia Production.

Since 2011 she has been Conference Manager at CRU, heading the logistics team of the internal events department which runs 15 to 19 conferences a year. After a year of maternity leave in May 2016 Sabine resigned from her role as Head of Logistics and managing the team to come back as Conference Manager managing the organisation and logistics of a number of events, including both Sulphur and Nitrogen + Syngas flagship events.

She also provides a support role across both sponsorship and exhibition administration and logistics on a number of other events. Sabine's background in IT will support projects impacting logistics across Eventsforce, data integration, website development and the CRU event app.
