Jacob Li

Jacob joined CRU Consulting in September 2019 and is from engineering background with industrial and academic research experience.

Before joining CRU, Jacob worked as an academic tutor and research assistant focusing on energy storage materials, while studying Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney. He also gained his industrial experience as an engineer at Continental AG, BOC Gas and Orora Packaging Solutions.

Since joining CRU, Jacob has worked on a range of commodities including iron ore, steel, coal, scrap, aluminium, nickel, cobalt, lithium, and rare earth metals. Previous work Jacob has delivered includes fundamental market study, due diligence, public submissions, financing/investment support, M&A advisory and dispute resolutions.
