Alexey Pavlov

​Alexey joined CRU Consulting in September 2021 and moved to the Aluminium Analysis team in January 2023.

While in Consulting, Alexey focused on the steel industry decarbonisation, commercial due diligence and ferrous metallics markets. In​ Aluminium, he is responsible for the monthly Aluminium Products Monitor as well as undertaking flat rolled product markets and demand analysis. Before joining CRU, Alexey had experience advising clients on various corporate finance issues such as M&A, project financing, equity research, and corporate development in energy and mining.

Alexey holds an MSc in Business from the Bodø Graduate School of Business (HHB, Norway) and a Diploma with Distinction in International Industrial Management from Baltic State Technical University in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, where he also received a Master of Business Administration and Engineering (MBAE) diploma. Alexey is based in the London office.
