Amir joined CRU Consulting in 2015. Since joining, Amir has worked on a wide range of commodities including Iron Ore, Thermal and Metallurgical Coal, Steel, Nickel and Lithium.
Specifically, Amir has advised customers on different types of projects including IPOs, net back analysis, cost benchmarking, market due diligence and infrastructure related studies.
Prior to joining CRU, Amir worked as a research analyst in the area of energy market research at the University of Western Australia, and at the Australian Research Council funded oil and gas valuation team at RMIT University. For a brief period, he was an analyst in the oil and gas industry. He has presented the results of his research papers at leading international energy conferences and has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals.
Amir based in CRU's Sydney office, has a PhD in Finance from the University of Western Australia in the area of commodity investments, and holds a Master of Finance, and Bachelor of Industrial Management.
Traditionally, the discussion on coke technology has been centred around cost control and quality improvements.
