Green ammonia could be a key enabler of the hydrogen economy and global decarbonization. In this webinar, CRU experts introduce green ammonia and its potential use in as a carbon free feedstock in traditional uses (e.g. fertilizer, explosives) and new energy applications (e.g. marine fuel). In addition, CRU provides an assessment of the potential feasibility of green ammonia in Chile’s hydrogen strategy, for which there is a strong public policy push, as well as more broadly in Latin America. The presentation also includes analysis of the green ammonia cost competitiveness versus brown ammonia, and factors that should accelerate the adoption of green ammonia, as well as factors to consider in assessing the feasibility of green ammonia projects.
