This past week at CRU, we celebrated a remarkable achievement by our colleague Katy Pritchard, Senior Marketing Operations Manager. Together with her sister and brother-in-law, she completed the London to Brighton Cycle Ride to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. After losing her father to cancer last month, Katy decided to join the Race for Life charity campaign and contribute to cancer research.
She and her team have so far raised a total of £3,700, including CRU's contribution under its charity matching scheme.
The ride featured 55 miles of tough hills, hairy descents, a small crash (thankfully no injuries), a few loose chains, sunshine and torrential rain — and she and the team made it!
We are proud of Katy Pritchard and her team for their amazing spirit in supporting a meaningful cause. CRU will continue to back its employees’ charitable initiatives and encourage everyone to find meaningful ways to give back to the community.
