Following market momentum at OFC 2026 in March, CRU is excited to announce its participation with the Fiber Broadband Assocation & Fiber Connect 2026 conference as an official media and analyst partner. CRU will be providing coverage of the innovative, four-day optical fibre business and technology event that will offer new and unique opportunities for business development, market development, technology demonstration and peer group interaction.

The Fiber Connect 2026 programme – held 17–20 May 2026, in Orlando, Florida – will articulate how fibre broadband positions communities “Light Years Ahead” in terms of access to beneficial digital applications and services. Sessions will showcase the future that fibre enables, underscoring the long-term impact of fibre broadband for individuals, families, businesses, industries, communities and the country, while also sharing best practices for building and expanding fibre infrastructure. The program will dive deep into challenges and opportunities for fibre broadband in public policy, AI, middle mile, streaming services, manufacturing, healthcare, Tribal networks, agriculture, data centres, smart cities and more.

FBA expects attendance at Fiber Connect 2026 to surpass last year’s record of more than 5,000 attendees. Professionals from across the fiber broadband ecosystem attend the event each year, including network operators, service providers, state broadband offices, policy makers, technology innovators and more.
