CRU Licensing
CRU provides access to its research, data and prices through a licensing structure designed to support the many ways customers maximise our trusted market intelligence.
Our licensing framework helps customers effectively utilise CRU services confidently for internal analysis, and where required, additional permissions are available for contractual use, republishing and AI-enabled applications.
Core Licence
CRU’s core licence covers internal use for authorised users, or via API. The licence incorporates a range of permissions for storing, sharing and internal republishing of CRU services. The licence also includes permission to create and share derivative works within the parameters of your business.
Additional permissions
Commercial use
A Commercial Licence allows CRU price assessments to be used in commercial contracts with licenced counterparties, helping customers benchmark value, support negotiations and manage commercial exposure with confidence.
Republishing
A Republishing Licence enables approved limited excerpts and derivative content to be shared in reports, presentations, websites and other external communications, supporting clear and credible market commentary.
AI use
Our AI Licence allows approved use of CRU content in connection with Enterprise AI systems for internal business purposes, subject to prior approval and specific controls.
Access and availability
Access to CRU products is restricted to authorised users of organisations with valid licences.
