January 2024, Beijing: Today, CRU, the global commodities experts, announces the appointment of Chaosheng Tang as the new China Country Manager and VP of Sales. In his new position, Chaosheng will further strengthen CRU’s offering in the Chinese market, combining local expertise with CRU’s international knowledge of global commodity markets.
CRU has been operating in China for over 20 years and as China continues to cement itself as one of the biggest players in global commodity supply chains, CRU’s unique position allows Chinese clients to leverage global expertise and connections to reach their own business goals. Chaosheng will focus on creating and executing a successful growth strategy, collaborating with colleagues and partners in the region and globally, and providing leadership and guidance to the sales team and wider office.
Prior to joining CRU, Chaosheng spent most of his career at ABB and two years at GE, in multiple roles across sales and business development, business strategy and senior leadership. While at ABB, Chaosheng worked on multi-million-dollar deals, selling equipment and consultancy services to clients in China and throughout the world.
